A 22-year-old woman was arrested early Tuesday morning after she used a knife to slice a man during a fight inside a vacant mobile home in Yucaipa, San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials said.

Jean Aragon, whom officials said was homeless, ran off from the mobile home in the 12400 block of Fourth Street after the attack.

Deputies found Aragon a short distance away at Yucaipa Boulevard and Fourth Street and detained her.

Investigators learned Aragon and the victim were inside the mobile home when they started to argue, a sheriff’s news release said.

The fight escalated and Aragon punched the victim then cut him with a knife causing a “significant” wound, officials said.

Aragon was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. She is being held in lieu of $50,000.
