The Press-Enterprise will honor dozens of local companies as 2017 Top Workplaces with a published list and gala ceremony later this year. But first companies must be nominated.
In its fourth year, the event anticipates becoming the most respected and popular source for ranking workplace quality in the Inland Empire.
Based on anonymous input from Inland Empire employees, the awards assess businesses of all sizes according to nearly two dozen survey statements on topics such as compensation, benefits, job satisfaction and social responsibility. Winners are ranked in three categories: large, midsize and small companies.
Last year 741 organizations were invited to participate, 60 were surveyed and 35 were recognized. A total of 25,047 employees were invited to complete the survey and of that number, 13,210 responded to give judges a good look at Inland companies that attracted nominations.
The Press-Enterprise will list the companies’ names in its Top Workplaces magazine, distributed this year on Dec. 1 to almost 100,000 subscriber households (in print and online). A gala on Nov. 30 will precede the publication.
The Top Workplaces list and company profiles will also be featured on the newspaper’s website, pe.com.
Time is short to nominate your company. The deadline is Aug. 11.
