A Murrieta man taken from a burning home in serious condition by firefighters has died, authorities reported Monday, March 19.
Iaco Rama, 58, was found by firefighters when they answered a house fire call on Sunday. The single-family, single-story home in the 39400 block of Cardiff Avenue had major damage, including a partially collapsed roof.
Cal Fire/Riverside County said the blaze alarm when out at 1:14 p.m. Rama was pronounced dead about one hour later at Rancho Springs Medical Center, the Riverside County Coroner reported.
The home had about $300,000 in damage, Cal Fire estimated. The fire was knocked down in about 1 hour, 15 minutes.
