At least one person was killed Saturday morning, Aug. 19, after a vehicle went off a roadway in Angelus Oaks and ended up upside down, according to initial reports.
The incident, called a fatality on a CHP incident log, appears to have been reported by witnesses shortly after 3 a.m. in the area of Highway 38 and Front Line Road.
It’s unclear what caused the vehicle to go off the roadway. A person who reported the crash waited by the side of the roadway until officers arrived and showed them where it was.
By about 4 a.m. the coroner had been requested.
