A LoJack hit on a motorcycle stolen out of Temecula led Riverside County sheriff’s deputies to a San Jacinto neighborhood Saturday night, April 22, sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Armando Muñoz said by phone.

The motorcycle had been reported stolen in the afternoon.

Later Saturday, deputies and a sheriff’s helicopter searched the 2100 block of Tall Grass Court off Sweet Clover Loop near Ward Park in San Jacinto, where they believed the motorcycle was.

Deputies surrounded a residence, three occupants came out and one, identified as the suspect involved in the theft, was taken into custody about 9 p.m., Muñoz said. The suspect’s name was not immediately available.

The neighborhood of single-family homes is southeast of the intersection of Sanderson Avenue and Seventh Street on the west side of the city.
