Adrian Gonzalez is on a rehab assignment and finished with no hits and two base on balls in four plate appearances for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes as they defeated the Lake Elsinore Storm 4-2 in a California League game at LoanMart Field Tuesday night.

Garrett Kennedy led the Quakes (22-17) with a two-run home run in the fourth inning.

Chris Powell picked up the win after only surrendering one hit in 3 1/3 innings of relief.

Carlos Belen finished with a hit and two RBI to lead the Storm (19-20).

Stockton 4, Inland Empire 3:

The 66ers gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to fall to the Ports at Banner Island Ballpark.

Matt Thaiss finished with two hits and an RBI to lead the 66ers (20-19) and Taylor Ward hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.
